I’m doing it — I’m joining the world of blogging.
Now, I don’t have very much of interest to say, but what the heck? Neither do 98% of the other bloggers out there! It’ll be fun anyhow.
I thank you for visiting.
The main things I enjoy doing are cross stitching, sewing and altered art. I also am a huge collector of things. You know how it is .. you tell yourself, ‘Some day, I’m going to ______ (use all this fabric, make that quilt, finish that cross stitch project)’ And more often than not, some day never comes. I enjoy reading (Stephen King, Elizabeth Berg and Dean Koontz in particular). I LOVE Pyrex and when I go to thrift stores or flea markets (two of my favorite places to go) I beeline to those items first. But hey, I use it too, so it’s not wasting money, right?
So without further ado, here are a few of the latest things I’ve completed:
found these little wooden boxes at Michaels (or was it AC Moore?)
“Family” tag
Tiny Little Gift Tags – they’re laminated so you can write on them with a Sharpie. They’ll be great for little presents. I’m not thrilled with the gems, but they’re all I had handy when I made these.
