Slept til 1PM and STILL got stuff done today!

first of all — ohmygoodness! It’s Dec 1 alREADY?
Really?
I have a mere 23 days to complete shopping for all these people?
   1.  Maureen (my sister, whose birthday is Dec 22)
   2. Briana (my  niece)
   3. Audrey and Emmy (my other nieces) Although, I DID pick up a few things here and there for them. BUT Audrey’s b’day is ALSO close to Christmas
  4.  Sammi (my best friends daughter)
  5. Che Che (my best friend, although I got two things for her already, that might be enough)
  6. Joe (her husband .. maybe a bottle of wine) 
  7. kid one and kid two, they deserve much more than I’ve been able to get them so far
  8. Lisa and Dave (my work friends, although 10.00 Starbucks cards are looking like the best option)

Good gracious, I am in need of another job or a rich husband!

Well, I did get some stuff done today. I went to Kohl’s with a gift card I’d gotten for my birthday (and I even managed to spend *most* of it on myself, although kid one snuck in a tee shirt he wanted)

I also hit the Goodwill store. I had attempted to find another thrift store that was supposed to be near where I was going. I printed off directions and everything, but the road came to a dead end and the road I was looking for never appeared …. so …. Goodwill it was!
I did get some Christmas stuff .. I found a huge pop up tent type thing for Audrey and Emmy, I know they’ll like that (they’re 3 and 5 and BIG into the Princesses) It’s covered in Disney princesses, natch!
I also got some glassware (bowls, etc) to fill with candy/cookies/fudge .. ie food stuff that I’ll add to gifts so I don’t look like a cheap sister/aunt/friend!
And I found, for ME, an amazing Eiffel Tower shaped lamp. I’ve seen them before but they usually cost a lot, this one was about 5.00 (minus a shade, I had to use my own) but it now occupies the bookcase beside my bed and I’m totally in love with it!
