a girl walks in to the doctors office …

Oh, yeah, that would be ME! lol

So really, I am at my doctors and I’m sitting there minding my own business and the receptionist calls out “Dolores?” (ok, embarassingly enough, that is my ‘real’ name, Lori is a nickname) So as I call out “Yes?” so does the woman sitting across from me. We laugh and ask which one.
So I say to her, “That’s funny, who’d think there’d be two Dolores’ here”, to which she replies “Yeah, but I go by Lori”
I cracked up and said “Me too!” Turns out she spells both names the same way (some people spell it Delores). Her birthday is the same as my moms. Her parents are Irish (mom) and Polish (dad) – so were mine! Fortunately her sisters name was not the same lol. Small world, eh?
It gave us both a good chuckle – I told her she was my twin!
